A Monumental Sculpture for the Mediterranean Games

On the occasion of the Opening Ceremony of the XX Mediterranean Games Taranto 2026, the Erasmo Iacovone Stadium was transformed into a spectacular stage celebrating sport, culture and the identity of the Mediterranean.

At the heart of this spectacular production, we created a monumental 10-metre-high inflatable sculpture, designed to become one of the ceremony's main visual highlights.

A Classical Sculpture Reimagined

Inspired by the aesthetics of classical sculpture, the figure was reinterpreted on a monumental scale and transformed into an inflatable structure capable of visually dominating the entire stadium.

Its impressive size and level of detail created a striking stage presence, turning the inflatable into much more than a decorative element: a true piece of scenography fully integrated into the show.

Fully Custom Production

Creating a structure of this scale requires a fully customised production process.

From developing the shapes and proportions to material selection, manufacturing and installation preparation, every detail was specifically developed for this project.

The result is a 10-metre-high piece that combines a powerful visual impact with the technical requirements of a large-scale stage production.
